The project titled "Hybrid Nanoparticle-Based Combined Phototherapy in the Treatment of Burn-Related Bacterial Infection," directed by Asist. Prof. Kübra Onbaşlı, has been funded from TÜBİTAK under the "TÜBİTAK 1001 Scientific and Technological Research Projects Support Program."

In addition, the TUSEB Group B Call grants funding for the research project entitled "Development of Theranostic SPIONs with Targeted Combination Therapy Potential for Pancreatic Cancer Treatment," which is also being directed by Dr. Onbaslı.  Within the scope of this project, an alternative agent and method for treating pancreatic cancer, one of the most challenging and lethal cancers to treat in the clinic, are to be developed. The Project will be directed by Istanbul Technical University and involves the participation of Koç University and Koç University Hospital as research institutions.
