To be the 6th faculty established in the history of ITU, our faculty aims to make scientific and applied research in the fields of chemistry, metallurgy, food and bioengineering fields by pursuing developments in the tomorrow’s key technologies and interdisciplinary engineering opportunities to become a center of advanced solutions in national and international levels.

Our Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering and Food Engineering undergraduate programs are accredited by ABET (EAC).

The traditional 251st ITU Day, held on May 26, 2024, brought together alumni from different generations and their families.

 

The traditional 251st ITU Day, held on May 26, 2024, brought together alumni from different generations and their families. As part of ITU Day, plaques were presented at our faculty to alumni from the departments of Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, and Food Engineering, celebrating their 20th and 30th years in their professional careers. For those celebrating their 70th, 60th, 50th, and 40th years, plaques were presented at a ceremony held at the ITU Ayazağa Campus, Süleyman Demirel Cultural Center.
