ITU Faculty of Chemical Metallurgical Engineering

To be the 6th faculty established in the history of ITU, our faculty aims to make scientific and applied research in the fields of chemistry, metallurgy, food and bioengineering fields by pursuing developments in the tomorrow’s key technologies and interdisciplinary engineering opportunities to become a center of advanced solutions in national and international levels.

Our Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering and Food Engineering undergraduate programs are accredited by ABET (EAC).

TUBITAK 1001 Project Support to Our Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. İpek AKIN KARADAYI

The project led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. İpek AKIN KARADAYI, a faculty member of our Faculty's Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Department, was qualified for TUBITAK 1001 financial support.

The project, “Synthesis of Tix+1SiCx and Tiy+1AlCy MAX Phase Raw Materials by Sol-Gel Method, Production and Characterization of Bioinert Ceramic-MAX Composites” led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. İpek AKIN KARADAYI, a faculty member of our Faculty's Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Department, was qualified for TUBITAK 1001 - The Scientific and Technological Research Projects Funding Program.
