Webinar on " The Role and Importance of Circular Economy in Combating Climate Change "

by Sezgin Sarışen | Jun 23, 2022
Prof. Dr. Hasan Can Okutan, one of our faculty members, conducted a webinar on "The Role and Importance of Circular Economy in Combating Climate Change.

The global production-consumption structure is increasingly transforming into a sustainable, innovation-based circular economy system in which waste is recycled and reevaluated, resource efficiency is assured, and raw material costs are reduced. The circular economy targeting the efficient use of resources contributes to developing a green economy based on sustainable development by establishing a balanced relationship between the policies intended to be implemented within the scope of combating climate change and economic goals.

In this context, Prof. Dr. Hasan Can Okutan, a contracted faculty member in the Chemical Engineering Department, conducted a webinar on "The Role and Importance of Circular Economy in Combating Climate Change" on April 12, 2022, between 14.00-16.00. We thank everyone who attended the webinar and expressed interest in it.
