ITU Faculty of Chemical Metallurgical Engineering

To be the 6th faculty established in the history of ITU, our faculty aims to make scientific and applied research in the fields of chemistry, metallurgy, food and bioengineering fields by pursuing developments in the tomorrow’s key technologies and interdisciplinary engineering opportunities to become a center of advanced solutions in national and international levels.

Our Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering and Food Engineering undergraduate programs are accredited by ABET (EAC).

Asst. Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Enis KARAHAN received the 2024 Turkish Academy of Sciences Outstanding Young Scientist (TÜBA-GEBİP) Award.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Enis KARAHAN from the Department of Chemical Engineering of our faculty has won the 2024 Turkish Academy of Sciences Outstanding Young Scientist (TÜBA-GEBİP) Award within the scope of the Outstanding Young Scientist Awards Programme (GEBİP), which is carried out by the Turkish Academy of Sciences in order to support young scientists who stand out with their outstanding scientific studies in their research and development of their own research groups and to encourage young scientists in our country to conduct outstanding research. We sincerely congratulate our faculty member and wish him continued success.
