To be the 6th faculty established in the history of ITU, our faculty aims to make scientific and applied research in the fields of chemistry, metallurgy, food and bioengineering fields by pursuing developments in the tomorrow’s key technologies and interdisciplinary engineering opportunities to become a center of advanced solutions in national and international levels.

Our Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering and Food Engineering undergraduate programs are accredited by ABET (EAC).

Asst. Prof. Dr. Elif ÖZTÜRK ER, one of our faculty members at the Chemical Engineering Department, will carry out research within the scope of the TUBITAK POLAR 1001.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Elif ÖZTÜRK ER, one of our faculty members at the Chemical Engineering Department received a support within the scope of TUBITAK POLAR 1001. Dr Öztürk Er will conduct scientific studies on the detection of drug active ingredients in biological and environmental elements on Horseshoe Island, located in the west of the Antarctic Peninsula.
