ITU Faculty of Chemical Metallurgical Engineering

To be the 6th faculty established in the history of ITU, our faculty aims to make scientific and applied research in the fields of chemistry, metallurgy, food and bioengineering fields by pursuing developments in the tomorrow’s key technologies and interdisciplinary engineering opportunities to become a center of advanced solutions in national and international levels.

Our Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering and Food Engineering undergraduate programs are accredited by ABET (EAC).

Cooperation visit from University of Food Technologies Plovdiv to our Rectorate

Vice-Rectors and faculty members from the University of Food Technologies Plovdiv visited our Rectorate to discuss possible inter-university and university-industry collaborations.
 

Vice rector for international activities Prof. Dr. Galin Ivanov, vice rector for academic activities Prof. Dr. Hristo Spasov, Chairman of the General Assembly Prof. Dr. Kiril Mihalev and Faculty Members Dr. Nikolai Zhelyazkov, Dr. Ivelina Ivanova, Dr. Hafize Fidan from University of Food Technologies Plovdiv and DEIK vice-president Emrah Sazak held a meeting with our vice rector Prof. Dr. Lütfiye Durak Ata and our Faculty members from Food Eng. Dept. and they discussed the activities to be carried out within the scope of possible collaborations.
