ITU Faculty of Chemical Metallurgical Engineering

To be the 6th faculty established in the history of ITU, our faculty aims to make scientific and applied research in the fields of chemistry, metallurgy, food and bioengineering fields by pursuing developments in the tomorrow’s key technologies and interdisciplinary engineering opportunities to become a center of advanced solutions in national and international levels.

Our Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering and Food Engineering undergraduate programs are accredited by ABET (EAC).

Kocaeli Chamber of Industry Visited Our Faculty

Kocaeli Chamber of Industry President H. Tahsin TUĞRUL and Non-Ferrous Metals Committee visited our Faculty for possible collaborations within the scope of versatile, effective and sustainable university-industry cooperation projects.
 

We exchanged detailed information on "Recovery of Waste Water, Basic and Acidic Solutions, and Metallic Values Released Before and After Anodizing Surface Coating Processes" on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, with our University's Environmental Engineering Department, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Department, MEMTEK, Kocaeli Chamber of Industry President Mr. H. Tahsin TUĞRUL, and the Non-Ferrous Metals Committee within the scope of Versatile, Effective, and Sustainable University-Industry Cooperation projects. The Non-Ferrous Metals Committee of the Kocaeli Chamber of Industry endeavors to conduct a research and development project with the collaboration of İzaydaş, ITU Environmental Engineering, MEMTEK, and Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Department faculty members.
