To be the 6th faculty established in the history of ITU, our faculty aims to make scientific and applied research in the fields of chemistry, metallurgy, food and bioengineering fields by pursuing developments in the tomorrow’s key technologies and interdisciplinary engineering opportunities to become a center of advanced solutions in national and international levels.

Our Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering and Food Engineering undergraduate programs are accredited by ABET (EAC).

ITU Career Summit (IKZ’23)

3-4-5 May 2023 at ITU Ayazağa and Gümüşsuyu Campuses, once again brought together businesses and young talents.

ITU Career Summit 2023 was held between May 3-5 with the participation of 80 companies in the Central Classroom Building (MED-A) and 5 different Faculty buildings (Faculty of Chemical and Metallurgical Engineering, Faculty of Mines, Faculty of Electrical and Electronics, Faculty of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and Gümüşsuyu Campus) at company stands (170) located in Ayazağa and Gümüşsuyu campuses. Our students visited the companies that set up stands in our Faculty (Akcoat, Akçansa Cement, Akkim Kimya, BRF Banvit, CMS Jant, Çolakoğlu Metalurji, DowAksa, Epsan Plastik, Euretec Engineering, Farplas, Ferro Döküm, Güriş Industry Group, Hasçelik, Hayat Kimya, İsolab, Kale Group, Kutes Metal, Mettler Toledo, Pluskim, Uno, Zer) to get information about job and internship opportunities through participation in events, and experiencing interview simulations with the representatives of the companies they were interested in, was an important experience for their future and self-awareness.
