ITU Faculty of Chemical Metallurgical Engineering

To be the 6th faculty established in the history of ITU, our faculty aims to make scientific and applied research in the fields of chemistry, metallurgy, food and bioengineering fields by pursuing developments in the tomorrow’s key technologies and interdisciplinary engineering opportunities to become a center of advanced solutions in national and international levels.

Our Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering and Food Engineering undergraduate programs are accredited by ABET (EAC).

TUBITAK award to Prof. Dr. Neşe Şahin Yeşilçubuk and her team

The project, which was applied as the coordinator within the scope of the call "HORIZON-MISS-2021-SOIL-02-03: Linking soil health to nutritional and safe food" was deemed worthy of the TÜBİTAK Above Threshold Award.

Members of our Faculty, Prof. Dr. Neşe Şahin Yeşilçubuk, Dr. Ayşe Saygün, MSc Hande Yenipazar from Food Engineering Department received the TÜBİTAK Above Threshold Award for the project they applied as the coordinator within the scope of the European Union Horizon Europe Program "HORIZON-MISS-2021-SOIL-02-03: Linking soil health to nutritional and safe food" call, with a score above the threshold set by TÜBİTAK. We sincerely congratulate our Faculty Members and Faculty Members and wish them continued success.
