To be the 6th faculty established in the history of ITU, our faculty aims to make scientific and applied research in the fields of chemistry, metallurgy, food and bioengineering fields by pursuing developments in the tomorrow’s key technologies and interdisciplinary engineering opportunities to become a center of advanced solutions in national and international levels.

Our Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering and Food Engineering undergraduate programs are accredited by ABET (EAC).

Honorary Doctorate to Prof. Dr. Gültekin Göller

Prof. Dr. Gültekin Göller, a member of our Faculty in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Department, was conferred an Honorary Doctorate by the Bucharest Technical University Senate.

Prof. Dr. Gültekin Göller, a member of our Faculty in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Department, was awarded the Doctor Honoris Cause (Honorary Doctorate) title by the Bucharest Technical University Senate in a decision dated 25.10.2022 and numbered 549, for his worldwide research in the field of Materials Science and his contributions to the development of bilateral cooperation between institutions. The ceremony took place on November 23, 2022, in the Bucharest Technical University Senate.
