ITU Faculty of Chemical Metallurgical Engineering

To be the 6th faculty established in the history of ITU, our faculty aims to make scientific and applied research in the fields of chemistry, metallurgy, food and bioengineering fields by pursuing developments in the tomorrow’s key technologies and interdisciplinary engineering opportunities to become a center of advanced solutions in national and international levels.

Our Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering and Food Engineering undergraduate programs are accredited by ABET (EAC).

"From Metal to Art: METALIZYON" Exhibition was launched by our Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Koyuncu on December 6, 2022 and will be open through the end of December.


"From Metal to Art: METALIZYON" Exhibition, organized by ITU Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Club as part of our University’s 250th Anniversary celebrations, was launched by our Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Koyuncu on December 6, 2022.  Original metal and stone artworks by İdris and Orhan Savaş are on display in this exhibition which is located on the Dean's floor of our Faculty. Our University/Faculty Members, Staff, and Students, as well as Yıldız Eren and Eren Eren, who provided a significant contribution to our faculty, attended the ceremony. We would like to thank all of our guests, staff, and students who attended the exhibition's opening. Our "From Metal to Art: METALLISION" exposition will be open through the end of December.
