To be the 6th faculty established in the history of ITU, our faculty aims to make scientific and applied research in the fields of chemistry, metallurgy, food and bioengineering fields by pursuing developments in the tomorrow’s key technologies and interdisciplinary engineering opportunities to become a center of advanced solutions in national and international levels.

Our Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering and Food Engineering undergraduate programs are accredited by ABET (EAC).

Assist. Prof. Dr. Gamze GÜMÜŞLÜ GÜR, our faculty member at the Chemical Engineering Department, will perform research within the scope of The TUBITAK 2543- Bilateral Cooperation Program Call with National Center for Scientific and Technical Research (CNRST).

Assist. Prof. Dr. Gamze GÜMÜŞLÜ GÜR, our faculty member at the Chemical Engineering Department received a project support within the scope of the TUBITAK 2543- Bilateral Cooperation Program Call with National Center for Scientific and Technical Research (CNRST). Dr Gümüşlü Gür will perform research in collaboration with Youssef BELMABKHOUT at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University on “Atmospheric CO2 capture and valorization through methanation". We congratulate our faculty member and research group. We wish her continued success.
