To be the 6th faculty established in the history of ITU, our faculty aims to make scientific and applied research in the fields of chemistry, metallurgy, food and bioengineering fields by pursuing developments in the tomorrow’s key technologies and interdisciplinary engineering opportunities to become a center of advanced solutions in national and international levels.

Our Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering and Food Engineering undergraduate programs are accredited by ABET (EAC).

Assist. Prof. Dr. Gamze GÜMÜŞLÜ GÜR receives Post-Doctoral Research Support from TUBITAK

Assist. Prof. Dr. Gamze GÜMÜŞLÜ GÜR, our faculty member at the Chemical Engineering Department, will perform research at Carnegie Mellon University/USA within the scope of the 2219-International Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Program of TUBİTAK.

Assist. Prof. Dr. Gamze GÜMÜŞLÜ GÜR,our faculty member at the Chemical Engineering Department received a scholarship within the scope of the 2219-International Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Program of The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey. Dr Gümüşlü Gür will perform research in collaboration with Prof. Dr Andrew J. Gelllman at Carnegie Mellon University/USA on “Investigation of the steady state decay reaction of aspartic acid on natural chiral surfaces with high throughput techniques". We congratulate our faculty member and wish her continued success.
