ITU Materials Days, organized by ITU Metalurgical and Materials Engineering Club, were held at ITU Süleyman Demirel Cultural Center on 12-13 May 2022 with the theme of "Construction of a Sustainable Future with Materials Science".

With the participation of our Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Koyuncu and our faculty members, sustainable engineering applications based on the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals were discussed in this important organization. The current demands of strategic areas that turn the economic and social wheels of our country, such as energy, food and materials disciplines should be fulfilled through sustainable “R&D and Innovation”. For this purpose, the examples of the metallurgy-material technologies of the future were presented in the stands of leading companies operating in the field of metallurgy and materials engineering discipline in the foyer area.
